1 1/2 lb white fish
2 c water
salt
6 pod tamarind or 1/2 c lemon juice

boil all ingredients until fish is nearly done
add:
3 med. tomato, cut large
2 c green beans, cut 1" pieces
1 T patis, or more to taste
1 c spinach or other water greens

serve with rice and season with soy sauce if desired
